Let’s Discover Marrakech's Culinary Delights.

Marrakech's fame is rooted in its diverse culinary offerings. From aromatic spices to savory tagines and fragrant couscous, the city boasts a rich tapestry of flavors that reflect its cultural heritage.

Marrakech Cuisine: Exploring Tanjia

Where to find tanjia in morocco?

Tanjia (or you can spelled tangia also), it’s famous now on all Moroccan cities, but Marrakech’s Tanjia is the best one. So you can have it now on JAMAA EL FNA or in a lot of other place, or you can order it to your restaurant.

Why TANJIA is special?

It’s too simple because tagine needs to be cook over charcoal or a wood fire, but Tanjia relies on the low heat of smoldering ashes. The latter takes longer to prepare that makes meat so tender.

What makes you take a Tanjia. The price of a Tanjia is related to meat’s weight and type of the meat.

Is Tanjia the only dish I can have in Marrakech?

For sure no.

In marrakech we have couscous with 7 vegetables, it’s also one of the best dish in north Africa, and it’s so cheaper than Tanjia. What is the couscous’s recette?

In General, Couscous contains grains, meat, vegetables, and as the Tanjia you can choose what you like from the vegetables or meat.

And last but not least

The best dish for me PASTILLA or BASTILA: the best pie ever that you can taste, it’s a mix of ground almonds or pistachios, boneless chicken thighs, saffron, butter, eggs, melted sugar, pinch of cinnamon and a other stuff, she contains proteins and all what the human body need.
